The United Nations included World Creativity and Innovation Day, April 21 (WCID) among their days of global observance in 2017.
The motivation? To encourage everyone to use creativity in problem-solving to create a decent life for people on a planet and to address the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s)
Sustainable development is the development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. (Our Common Future, 1987)
WCID and WCIW* are open and free for all to take part.
Invitation. Use this time, and the days before and after to generate new ideas, make new decisions, take new actions and achieve new outcomes (aka use your creativity) to make the world a better place and to make your place in the world better too.
Upload your World Creativity and Innovation Day/Week celebration here. Show the world the ways in which you take part and contribute.
*World Creativity and Innovation Week, April 15 (Leonardo da Vinci’s Birthday) – April 21 (WCID) every year since 2001.
